Proctors win marketing accolade at Bromley Business Awards 2017
We are thrilled to have won Best Business for Marketing & Social Media at Bromley Business Awards 2017, held at The Warren, Hayes on 2 November. The award was given to Proctors for its refreshing approach and effective use of marketing and social media as part of our business strategy.
With our eye on the prize, we submitted a detailed awards entry outlining our marketing strategy backed with results from key campaigns. The submission highlighted the work we have done with our marketing agency, RONIN Marketing in launching Proctors onto social media in 2014 and in driving activity ever since. Nick Vincent, Director at our Shirley branch and Timothy Proctor, Partner at our Park Langley office were invited for a face-to-face interview with the awards’ judging panel, which ultimately led to the company being announced as finalists.
Staff from across Proctors branches were suited, booted and glammed up in gowns as they arrived at the venue to enjoy a three-course meal, dancing and most importantly, the award announcement. Sitting amongst attendees from local businesses, Bromley Cllr Kathy Bance MBE and sponsors including headline sponsors, The Glades, were also present for the occasion.
As one of eight finalists in the running for Best Business for Marketing & Social Media, we anxiously awaited the news and cheered in unison as our name was announced as the winner.
Charles Proctor, Partner at our West Wickham office collected the award on behalf of the company. “We are thrilled to have won the award,” he said in his acceptance speech. “We are fortunate to have a fantastic marketing agency who introduced Proctors to social media and have worked tirelessly in broadening the reach of the Proctors name. Effective marketing is essential for our customers when it comes to selling their homes. We would like to thank RONIN Marketing and all the staff at Proctors who make the company what it is today. Our thanks also extend to the Bromley Business Awards and those involved in making the event a memorable occasion.”
